What is most unique about Jon?
Five Australian and two Hawaii Ironman Triathlon Finishes requiring 20-25 hours a week of training, facilitating high performance Leadership and Team Development Programs nationwide, and keeping his marriage vibrant.
Born and raised? Weston-Super-Mare and Bath in Somerset, England.
Higher education? Post graduate work in the Neuroscience of Leadership. Physical Education & Social & Communities Studies at Alsager College in Cheshire and stayed an extra year to complete a Bachelor of Education (Hons) through the University of Keele.
First full-time job? Three years as Head of Boys P.E. at Sunnyside Secondary School in Halifax, Yorkshire.
Moved to Sydney, Australia? In July 1981.
Initial work in Australia?
- Sold Phillips Language Courses for 3 months.
- Part- time lawn mowing and window cleaning business contractor.
- Co-founded Vacation Sport Australia - holiday sports camps for 6 to 18 yr olds utilizing facilities at the University of Sydney, University of NSW and University of Wollongong.
- Lecturer, part-time at the Australian College of Physical Education and Kuring-gai College of Advanced Education.

Biggest Career Change Influence? Attending a personal/entreprenuer development program - Money and You in 1986, taught by Robert Kiyosaki, (Rich Dad, Poor Dad) where he was introduced to the work of Richard Buckminster Fuller (Geodesic Domes, World Game) and Edwards W Deming. Also introduced to superlearning, accelerated learning and experiential learning techniques and advanced facilitation skills.
